InDyne in Reston, VA received a $168.1 million contract modification to operate and maintain the Eglin Test and Training Complex Range at the Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
InDyne will provide operation and maintenance of test and training areas and technical facilities, including test and training mission support, engineering support for range system design/modification/range configuration, and range support service to accomplish authorized range activities. The Air Armament Center maintains the contract (FA9200-05-C-0001).

The Eglin overwater range provides 86,500 square miles of overwater airspace that is jointly used for a variety of test and evaluation activities and training exercises, according to Globalsecurity.org. The overwater range borders the southern edge of the Eglin AFB land range complex and extends over the Gulf of Mexico. The overwater range contains a number of test areas that are used for long-range, all altitude, air-to-air activities including drone target engagements, electronic combat, and long-range (or anti-ship) air-to-surface and surface-to-surface evaluations.
