Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) has recently disclosed the following Requests for Proposals (RFP), modifications and notifications:

  • The US Air Force releases a Statement of Work, Questions and Answers and additional documents in relation to the purchase and installation of a Lawful Intercept (LI) capability for the Government of Iraq (GOI). LI will provide the GOI with enhanced communications intelligence to support a range of security operations.

  • The Air Force Global Logistics Supply Center (AF GLSC) at Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a maximum of 329 sets of 1st stage fan blades to support TF33 engines. Estimated issue date is 30th August with responses due by 29th September. An award is expected to be announced on 28th October.
  • The US Army extends the response date to its RFP for a 5-year FFP IDIQ contract for up to 27o items associated with the maintenance of T700 engine combustion chambers until 4th October.
  • The US Air Force issues a RFP for newly-manufactured or unused government surplus vane assemblies for directing air flow into aircraft engines. Proposals are due by 30th August, with required delivery dates on or before 1st September 2012.
  • The US Air Force extends the response date to its RFP for a five-year contract for software to support the Integration Safety Information System (ISIS) until 5th September.
  • The US Air Force also extends the response date to its RFP for a five-year contract for up to 750 TER-9A Triple Ejector Racks for F-16 fighters until 2nd September. The approximate award date is 31st December 2011.
  • The US Navy releases work item specifications, references and drawings in support of its solicitation for the Regular Overhaul of the USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198). The estimated closing date is 7th September, with work scheduled to commence on 5th January 2012.
  • The US Air Force intends to issue a RFQ on 24th August 2011 for a five-year contract for software services in support of the migration of the USAF Academy libraries SirsiDynix Symphony system to a SirsiDynix Symphony hosted option, Service as Software (SaaS).
