Sysco Seattle Gets $19.2M in DoD Food Service Contracts

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia awarded Sysco Seattle in Kent, WA contracts worth up to $19.2 million to provide food service distribution and food and beverage support to US military facilities.

In August 2009, Sysco received a maximum $7.3 million firm-fixed price, indefinite quantity full-line food distribution contract modification to provide food services to US Army, US Air Force, and US Job Corps facilities in Alaska. That original contract [pdf] (SPM300-08-D-3160), awarded Aug 17/05, had a potential value of $29 million.

The recent contracts involve new awards for food service:

Jan 11/10: Sysco Seattle in Kent, WA received a maximum $15 million indefinite-quantity/ indefinite-delivery contract for prime vendor full-line food service distribution for the US Army, US Air Force and US Coast Guard. This was originally Web solicited with 1 response received by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia in Pennsylvania (SPM300-09-D-3327). The date of performance completion is Jan 9/11.

Jan 11/10: Sysco Seattle in Kent, WA received a maximum $14.2 million firm-price with economic price adjustment contract for prime vendor food and beverage support for the US Navy. This was originally Web solicited with 1 response received by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia in Pennsylvania (SPM300-09-D-3330). The date of performance completion is Jan 9/11.
