Up to $350M to 5 Firms to Build POL Fuel Systems for U.S. DoD

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded 5 companies firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contracts for assessment, repair, and construction of petroleum, oils and lubricant (POL) fuel systems at various U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) locations worldwide.

The value for all the contracts combined is $70 million. The contracts also include unexercised options, which if exercised would increase their cumulative value to $350 million.

The companies will provide support for the sustainment, restoration, and modernization requirements managed by the Engineering Service Center in Port Hueneme, CA. Projects may involve designing, building, engineering, inspection, testing and construction of POL fuel systems and various components.

The contracts were competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 8 proposals received by the NAVFAC Specialty Center Acquisitions in Port Hueneme, CA.
