W. M. Jordan Gets Additional Work for SOF Facilities in Virginia Beach

W. M. Jordan in Newport News, VA received a $14.6 million modification to a firm-fixed price contract (N40085-08-C-9684) to exercise option 0002 for installation of collateral equipment for the Special Operations Forces Facility (SOF) and SOF Operational Training Facility at Naval Air Station Oceana, Dam Neck Annex. Under the option, the company will install furniture and furnishings in accordance with the drawings and specifications in the furniture, fixtures and equipment package.

Under the original contract, W. M. Jordan was tasked with building a 2-story SOF P899 operations facility, a single-story addition to the 2nd floor of Building 368, a 1-story P768 SOF operational training facility, and a single-story addition to Building 310.

W. M. Jordan expects to complete construction by August 2010. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk, VA manages the contract.
