Campbell-Ewald Receives up to $468.6M for US Navy’s Recruiting Campaign

Recruiting remains one of the top 5 priorities for the USA’s Chief of Naval Operations. IPG’s Campbell-Ewald in Warren, MI was the incumbent agency for the US Navy’s overall recruiting campaign, but as DID reported on June 17/05, that account was under its regular review.

The firm’s previous contract ended in September 2005. And the new winner is…

Campbell-Ewald has received a $91.9 million firm-fixed-price, one-year contract to provide services in support of the Navy Recruiting Command’s Navy Recruitment Advertising program. The new contract also contains 4 one-year option periods, which could bring the total estimated value to $468.6 million.

Work on this contract will be performed in Warren, MI, and is expected to be complete by November 2006. This contract was awarded through full and open competition, with 2 offers received by The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk’s Philadelphia Division in Philadelphia, PA (N00140-06-D-0005).
