Launches from CCAFS

InDyne in Reston, VA received a $24.6 million contract modification to provide infrastructure operations and maintenance services at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and several Florida annexes. The original contract (FA2521-08-C-0006), awarded in 2008, has a maximum value of $188.7 million if the 6 option years are exercised.

CCAFS is an installation of the Air Force Space Command’s 45th Space Wing headquartered at nearby Patrick Air Force Base. Located on Cape Canaveral in Florida, CCAFS and the Kennedy Space Center, from which Shuttle launches are conducted, are the primary space launch facilities in the Eastern United States.

Under the original contract, InDyne provides engineering, planning, operations and maintenance services for facilities and launch systems at CCAFS, Florida annexes, and limited services for Patrick Air Force Base, which manages the contract…

$70M to CSC Applied Technologies for Aircraft Maintenance at Vance AFB

CSC Applied Technologies in Fort Worth, TX received a $70.5 million contract for base operating support and aircraft maintenance at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma in support of undergraduate pilot training. AETC/CONS/LGCK at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas manages the contract (FA3002-08-C-0007, P00025).

CACI Gets $19.7M Order to Support USA’s C4ISR Systems

CACI Systems in Chantilly, VA received a $19.7 million modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00421-06-C-0074) for technical support and engineering services and supplies in support of the Special Communications Requirements Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

Under this modification, CACI will support various US Navy, US Army, US Air Force, US Special Operations Forces, and other agencies command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) electronic systems. CACI will perform the work in Lexington Park (80%) and St. Inigoes (20%) MD and expects to complete the work by September 2010. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD manages the contract.
