Rapid Fire Nov. 8, 2012: Boeing, EADS Weather Lower Mil Sales

  • Sales at EADS are up 14.6% Y/Y for the 3rd quarter, to 12.3 billion euros (about $15.7B). So far this year, Cassidian has seen stable revenue, Astrium and Eurocopter are healthily growing, and commercial sales continue to pull ahead. Airbus Military on the other hand is having a tough year because A400M revenue is significantly below 2011 levels. The group’s total defense order book decreased by 1.7 billion euros to 51.1B.
