iGov, NCS Information Systems and Westwood Computer were added to the Air Force's list of seven approved vendors for non-ruggedized computers, joining Dell, Gateway, HP and MPC. The three companies signed five-year blanket purchase agreements on December 6, and Air Force officials say they will immediately take advantage of the vendors for needed Q1 2005 purchases. For ruggedized computers, the Air Force signed deals with six firms earlier in the year: GTSI, Insight Public Sector, Intelligent Decision Systems, Technology Integration Group, World Wide Technology and Westwood Computer.
