Americas Lockheed Martin won a modification, increasing the face value of contract FA8682-18-C-0009, Group One Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) development, by $21,8 million. The modification provides for the change in the work and contract type necessary to develop the new air to ground (AGM-158) JASSM B-2 missile variant. The JASSM is a conventional, stealthy, air-launched ground attack cruise missile. Work will take place in Florida. Estimated completion date is June 28, 2024. Europe

The US State Department approved a proposed sale of shoulder-fired Javelin missiles to the Republic of Georgia, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said on Tuesday. Georgia had requested to buy eighty-two (82) Javelin FGM-148 Missiles; and forty-six (46) Javelin Command Launch Units (CLU). The estimated total cost is $30 million.

The US DoS approved a potential $270 million sale of equipment and maintenance services necessary for Greece’s F-16 fleet. The proposed sale will improve Greece’s capability to meet current and future threats by providing agile logistics support to its F-16 program, encompassing aspects of aircrew training and aircraft maintenance. The ability to provide this level of support to the F-16 program will increase its inter-operability with NATO forces and enhance its ability to provide for security of its borders.

Asia-Pacific

The US State Department signed off on a deal worth $82 million to supply Harpoon Joint Common Test Set (JCTS) and related equipment to the Government of India. The Government of India had requested to buy one Harpoon Joint Common Test Set (JCTS). Also included is one Harpoon Intermediate Level maintenance station; spare and repair parts, support, and test equipment; publications and technical documentation; personnel training; US Government and contractor technical, engineering, and logistics support services; and other related elements of logistics and program support, a Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) release said.
