The Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD) has issued a warning against an increase in attempts of anti-Israel hackers to carry out cyberattacks during the month of Ramadan. According to the Directorate, as in previous years, this time of year is characterized by attempts to raise public attention and convey anti-Israel messages, using a great deal of fake news in the process. In the past week, the INCD has noticed an increase in DDOD attacks on a number of Israeli websites, which were briefly downed as a result, within the framework of a hacking activity called #OPIsrael. The INCD warns, that this activity is expected to increase further ahead of “Quds Day,” (Iranian Jerusalem Day, as it is known in Israel), which will take place on April 14th.

General Dynamics won an $8.7 million modification for Abrams systems technical support. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of April 26, 2024. Fiscal 2010 Foreign Military Sales (Poland) funds and fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation, Army funds in the amount of $8,743,692 were obligated at the time of the award. L-3 Harris Technologies won a $584 million contract for production, engineering services, and repair support for the ALQ-211(V) 4, (V) 8, (V) 9 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite (AIDEWS). This contract provides for AIDEWS block cycle software development, engineering support, technical orders, system integrity and travel. Work will be performed at Clifton, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed April 2, 2028. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales to Pakistan, India, Poland, Chile, Oman, Turkey, Iraq, and Morocco.

The Indian Ministry of Defense has awarded Bharat Dynamics Limited an $1 billion contract to produce and deliver an “improved” Akash surface-to-air system. The domestically-built short-range system will be fielded by the Army Air Defence’s third and fourth regiments stationed along the northern borders.
