CACI International in Arlington, VA won 2 separate contracts worth up to $104 million to supply IT support to the U.S. Navy and intelligence database support to the U.S. Army.

For the Navy, CACI won a contract worth up to $70 million to enhance, maintain and support the Military Sealift Command’s IT systems used for maintenance and supply processes. The base value of the indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract with fixed-priced task orders is $8.7 million. The contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $70 million. At the time of award, $1 million will be obligated.

DID has more on the Navy contract and on the Army top-secret database contract…

CACI will perform the work in Chantilly, VA (40%); Arlington, VA (20%); San Diego, CA (20%); and Hampton Roads, VA (20%), and expects to complete it by January 2017. This contract was competitively procured with more than 100 proposals solicited and 4 offers received by the Military Sealift Command in Washington, DC (N00033-09-D-6503).

For the Army, CACI won a $34 million prime contract to support a secure intelligence database that is part of the service’s Facilities, Infrastructure, and Engineering Systems (FIRES) program. CACI had previously served as a subcontractor on this effort but has now been awarded the prime position as a result of the contract being recompeted.

Under the terms of the 4-year contract (1 base year and 3 option years), CACI’s role will increase in size and scope. CACI’s support for FIRES includes acquiring, under direction of the Army, information on selected facilities and complexes, then digitizing and loading this information into the database. The company’s support includes database design, development, integration, and maintenance. In addition, CACI is now providing 3-dimensional renderings of blueprints and architectural drawings.
