Fluor Intercontinental Inc. in Charlotte, NC received the full delivery order amount of $53.6 million as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of Afghan National Army Regional Brigade Facilities. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 30, 2006. There were 10 bids solicited on Feb. 23, 2005, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Winchester, VA issued the contract (W912ER-04-D-0004).
