M2A3 Bradley
BAE subsidiary United Defense L.P. in York, PA was awarded the full delivery order amount of $71.5 million on its firm-fixed-price contract (W56HZV-05-G-0005) for remanufacture of M2A3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles. It is not known whether these vehicles will be equipped with IBAS targeting upgrades or Survivability Enhancement Armor.
Work will be performed in York, Pa. (83%), Aiken, S.C. (5%), San Jose, Calif. (8%), and Fayette, Pa. (4%), and is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2007. This was a sole source contract initiated on March 3, 2005 by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command in Warren, MI.
