$7.2M for Foreign Sidewinder Conversion, Components

Raytheon Systems Co. in Tucson, AZ received a $7.2 million ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed price contract (N00019-03-C-0003) to convert 414 AIM-9M-2 Sidewinder air-air missiles for the Government of Egypt and for the procurement of 36 Guidance Control Sections and 7 containers for the Czech Republic. Work will be performed in Tucson, AZ and is expected to be complete in March 2006. This modification combines purchases for the Government of Egypt ($4,119,300; 57.49%) and the Czech Republic ($3,046,260; 42.51%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, MD issued the contract.
