The Defense Commissary Agency’s Resale Contracting Division in Fort Lee, VA has awarded $77.5 million in requirements type contracts for “beef products” for various commissaries located in the western U.S. The contract completion date is June 30, 2006. Thirty-three firms were solicited and seven offers were received.
Cargill Meat Solutions Corp. won a $46.7 million contract for various commissaries located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. Work will be performed at Plainview, TX with deliveries of beef products to various commissaries located in DeCA’s Western Region (HDEC02-05-D-0007).
Washington Beef, LLC won a $30.8 million contract for various commissaries located in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii. Work will be performed at Toppenish, WA with deliveries of beef products to various commissaries located in DeCA’s Western Region (HDEC02-05-D-0006).
