Insight Technology in Londonderry, NH received a sole-source $10 million firm-fixed-price contract for small tactical optical rifle-mounted microlaser range finders. Insight also makes a wide range of rifle and pistol mounted illuminators and laser aiming devices, and is a leading supplier of tactical lights and lasers to U.S. Special Operations Forces.
Work on this contract will be performed in Billerica, MA and is expected to be complete by Jan. 15, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 10, 2005. The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, White Sands Missile Range, N.M. issued the contract (W9124Q-05-C-0311).
