BAE Acquires National Sensor Systems

BAE Systems Inc has reached a definitive agreement with National Sensor Systems (NSS) of Acton, MA to purchase all of its shares for $8.7 million in cash. NSS is a privately held 20-person company who specializes in the development of electro-optical sensor systems for aerospace and defense applications. See this page for a list of their technologies. The parties expect to close the transaction promptly upon receipt of regulatory approval.
