SOCOM Issues $10.7M Contract for Egyptian Navy Inflatables

United States Marine Inc. of New Orleans, LA is being awarded a $10.7 million firm fixed priced contract (USZA22-03-D-0003, Delivery Order 0028) for five Naval Special Warfare Rigid Inflatable Boat detachments. Each detachment shall consist of two craft, two trailers, two trucks, one lot of Detachment Deployment Package parts, personal crew outfitting items and support documentation. Three lots of Shore-Based Spares will also be delivered to support the Egyptian Navy under this USSOCOM PEO Naval Systems contract. This contract was awarded as a foreign military sales buy per FAR 6.302-4 International Agreements. Work will be performed in New Orleans, LA and is expected to be completed by May 19, 2006.
