02-2007: DSCP Issues Medical Imaging Contracts
The USA’s Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) in Philadelphia, PA recently issued a set of contracts for medical imaging systems, sub-systems, and components on behalf of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Federal civilian agencies, and Veteran’s Administration. Date of performance completion is November 11, 2007.
Total contract values exceed $120 million, and winners included…
Philips Medical Systems North America in Bothell, WA won a maximum $60 million fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-delivery contract. There were 119 proposals solicited and 28 responded. This is an indefinite delivery type contract (SP0200-02-D-8321). Last year’s contract was for $35 million worth of equipment.
(US DoD left our company name) in Milwaukee, WI won a maximum $31 million fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-quantity contract. There were 119 proposals solicited and 28 responded (SPM200-02-D-8325).
Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. in Malvern, PA won a maximum $30 million fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-quantity contract. Work will be performed in Malvern, PA and in Erlanger, Germany; the Netherlands, and Japan. There were 16 proposals solicited and 6 responded (SPM200-02-D-8314).
Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. in Duluth, GA received a maximum $5 million firm fixed price contract, specified as “x-ray imaging systems, sub-systems and components.” Work will be performed in Duluth, GA and in Corona, CA. There was 1 proposal solicited and 1 responded (SPM200-02-D-8022).
