United Technologies subsidiary Sikorsky Aircraft Corp in Stratford, CT received a maximum $224.4 million firm-fixed-price contract for spare parts, to support aircraft platforms for federal civilian agencies. This is not surprising – many of these American agencies fly Sikorsky helicopters, and Sikorsky was also tapped as the “contractor support logistics” source in EADS Eurocopter’s recent $3+ billion Army LUH helicopter win.

This is a sole source competition, exercising option year one. The date of performance completion is July 7, 2007. The contractor is the Defense Supply Center Richmond in Richmond, VA (SP040005D9413).
