The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division in Crane, IN recently issued three firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contracts for production of "machine shop-type items." They are used in various shipboard physical security installations and hull perimeter lighting efforts, in support of Navy and Military Sealift Command ships. Contracts were competitively procured and advertised via the Internet with 11 offers received. Work is expected to be complete by June 2010....
