$6.3M to Upgrade Singapore’s AH-64 Longbow Force

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co. in Mesa, AZ received a sole-source $6.3 million modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for Peace Vanguard Upgrade. Peace Vanguard is a programme under which 20 Republic of Singapore Air Force AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters are currently based in Marana, AZ to train with the Arizona National Guard (AZNG) and enjoy access to training area including the Gila Bend US Air Force ranges.

Work will be performed in Mesa, AZ and is expected to be completed by Oct. 15, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL issued the contract (DAAH23-99-C-0111).
