Universal Construction Co. Inc. in Huntsville, AL won a $66.8 million firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of an engine rebuilding facility in Calhoun, AL. The job is expected to be complete by Sept. 15, 2008. There were four bids solicited on Oct. 18, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Mobile, AL issued the contract (W91278-05-C-0050).
