$9.7M for More HEMTT Crew Protection Kits

Simula Aerospace & Defense Group Inc. in Phoenix, AZ received a sole-source $9.7 million modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck Crew Protection Kits. Work will be performed in Phoenix, AZ and is expected to be complete by Oct. 15, 2005. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command in Warren, MI issued the contract (W56HZV-04-C-0259). This award is cumulative with a $31 million modification to the same contract that DID reported on April 26, 2005.
