CSC Gets $79M Order to Provide C4IM Support to Aberdeen Proving Ground

CSC in Falls Church, VA received a task order from the US Army to provide command, control, communications, computers and information management (C4IM) support and services at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland.

The task order was awarded under the $20 billion Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2) contract vehicle. CSC’s ITES-2 contract number is W91QUZ-06-D-0018.

CSC’s task order has a 1-year base period, 4 one-year options and an estimated total 5-year value of $79 million…

Under the terms of the task order, CSC’s Log.Sec subsidiary will provide help desk and data center operations and maintenance services for the Directorate of Information Management; Team Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance; and other tenant agencies at APG. Services will include network infrastructure support, software development, project management and quality control.

APG is the Army’s oldest active proving ground; it is one of the world’s foremost research, development, testing, and training facilities for military weapons and equipment.

Acquired by CSC in December 2008, Log.Sec provides specialized logistics services, including lifecycle, acquisition and sustainment, as well as a test support.
