NAS Kingsville is one of the US Navy’s premier locations for jet aviation training, according to Located just east of Kingsville, TX, population 25,000, the Naval Air Station’s primary mission is to train tactical jet pilots for the Navy and Marine Corps. To accomplish its mission, NAS Kingsville is home to Training Air Wing 2 and several tenant commands, military as well as civilian, with a total complement of approximately 300 officers, 200 enlisted, 350 civilian personnel, and 625 contract maintenance personnel. Under this contract, TJC will convert Building 3755 from a bachelor enlisted quarters to transient quarters… The contractor will demolish the interior of Building 3755 and construct new 1-bedroom units, install a new HVAC system, and upgrade the electrical system and fire protection system to comply with current codes.
