EDAW in San Diego, CA won a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity architect/ engineering contract, worth up to $20 million, for preparation of Navy and Marine Corps environmental planning documentation for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest area of responsibility (AOR). EDAW will provide National Environmental Policy Act documents such as categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, as well as other environmental studies and documents. EDAW will perform the work at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities and other government facilities within the NAVFAC Southwest AOR, including California (80%); Arizona (5%); Nevada (5%); Colorado (1%); New Mexico (1%); Utah, (1%); Alaska (1%); Hawaii (1%), and remainder of the United States (5%). The contract is expected to be completed by June 2014. Contract funds in the amount of $5,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 7 proposals received by the NAVFAC (N62473-09-D-2602).
