Up to $500M to 6 Firms for US DoD Construction in Hawaii

The US Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii awarded 6 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts for US Department of Defense (DoD) waterfront construction projects at various locations in Hawaii. The contractors will undertake new construction, repairs, alterations of waterfront related structures/facilities, and dredging work based on design-build, 2-phase design-build, modified design-build, or full plans and specifications for DoD infrastructure. The maximum dollar value for all 6 contracts combined is $500 million. The contracts cover work to be completed by September 2014. These contracts were competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 6 proposals received.
