Orlando BizJournal: Harris wins defense contract worth possible $175 million
Harris Corporation won a Defense Information Systems Agency contract to help maintain and provide engineering for the agency’s Crisis Management System. The system is a secure video and data network using an IP backbone that connects senior U.S. officials during emergencies. Harris is to provide 24/7 support for all hardware and software. The two-year deal may be followed by as many as seven one-year options to renew, bringing in a potential $175 million.
