Small business qualifier Product Data Integration Technologies Inc., DBA Modulant in Charleston, SC, received a $60 million subcontract in an Accenture SAP implementation for the Defense Logistics Agency.
It also won a $10.4 million indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed fee, performance-based contract to support many current and future projects as required by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston, SC. That contract also includes four one-year options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $47.6 million, and the total value of both wins to over $100 million. Activities under the second contract would include:
Ship and shore architecture development, new standards engineering, prototype installation, application development, data interoperability, system design, systems management and maintenance; data collection, analysis, and other management implementation efforts.
These activities would be undertaken in upport of Task Force Web, the Navy Tool for Interoperability Risk Assessment, Open Systems Interconnection layer testing, Navy Network Engineering, Data Translation, Data Mediation, and Data Mapping.
Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C. (70%) and at other government activities (30%), and is expected to be complete by September 2006, or September 2010 with options. The contract was competitively procured under full and open competition, after exclusion of sources, as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Request for Proposal was posted on the SPAWAR Systems Center E-commerce website and five offers were received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston, SC issued the contract (N65236-05-D-6851).
