APAC-SOUTHEAST Inc., Gulf Coast Division in Pensacola, FL received a maximum $36.5 million firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract for the installation and repair of asphalt and concrete pavement within a 125-mile radius of Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola. This contract contains an option that, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contact to a not-to-exceed value of $158.1 million. Work will be performed primarily at NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL (92%); NAS Whiting Field in Milton, FL (2%); Naval Hospital Pensacola in Pensacola, FL (2%); Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Centers in Mobile, AL (2%); and NAS Panama City in Panama City, FL (2%). The term of the contract is not to exceed 48 months, with an expected completion date of August 2006 (August 2009 with options). This contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with only one offer received. The Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at Naval Facilities Engineering Command Field Office in Pensacola, FL issued the contract (N62467-05-D-3135).
