* US NAVSEA conducted last month tests of its Surface Ship Torpedo Defense (SSTD) system from USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77). * Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) delivered Minnesota (SSN 783) to the US Navy. It’s their 10th Virginia-class submarine. * Should NATO play a role in the Arctic? * Russia’s recently-reactivated Mediterranean task force is now formally up and running. * Iran still hopes to change Russia’s mind about the delivery of S-300 missiles blocked by (then) President Medvedev in 2010. * Turkmenistan is reportedly buying 8 fast attack boats from Turkey’s Dearsan.
