Up to $500M over 5 Years For US Naval Basing Shore Security Measures

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, Specialty Center Contracts Core in Port Hueneme, CA has awarded a set of firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity multiple-award contracts for procurement, installation, and sustainment of Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Ashore Program equipment at naval installations worldwide. There are some interesting projects going on under ATFP Ashore, including work on a Systems Effectiveness Model that aims to ensure maximum effectiveness from investments. This contract, however, is for integration and installation of equipment on site. Work will be performed at various locations worldwide. The total amount per year is not to exceed $100 million, and the cumulative total for all 4 contracts over the entire contract term is $500 million (base period and 4 one-year options). The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of March 2008 (March 2012 with options).
