Work will be performed in East Hartford, Connecticut (82%); South Windsor, Connecticut (9%); North Berwick, Maine (8%); and various locations within the continental US (1%), and is expected to be completed in December 2026.
The US Air Force has commenced the leasing of a C-130H aircraft to the Argentina Air Force, marking the beginning of an essential collaboration. Through the Georgia Air National Guard, this support underscores the longstanding partnership between the United States and Argentina, while solidifying the State Partnership Program between the Georgia National Guard and Argentina, which originated in 2016.

The transfer of the Qatari fleet’s Mirage fighter jets was facilitated by Defense Conseil International (DCI), a private French-owned company based in Qatar. They undertook the preparation of the aircraft for transportation, ensuring a smooth logistical process. The transportation itself was carried out using Antonov 124 cargo planes.

Germany will not be able to immediately replace tanks that it is providing to Ukraine, the country’s defense minister has said, as Russia claimed to have destroyed or captured some of them. Berlin earlier this year started sending advanced Leopard battle tanks to Ukraine, after months of pleas from Kyiv for the heavy weapons to bolster its fightback against Russia.

The US Army conducted underground tactical training in South Korea during the 11-day Warrior Shield situational exercise. The drills were led by the 8th Army’s 2nd Infantry Division. Practices centered on operating through tunnels beneath cities to avoid sensors and monitoring surface activity. “When you look at the ability to move underground, in some ways the tunnels are completely unseen by other sensors,” Commander Lt. Gen. Bill Burleson stated.
Ukraine has asked Australia about the condition of dozens of retired F-18 fighter jets, the country’s ambassador told AFP on Tuesday, eyeing a potential weapons transfer that could significantly boost Kyiv’s airpower. Vasyl Myroshnychenko said an initial request had been made about the state of an estimated 41 planes stored at an air base north of Sydney.
