The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Pearl Harbor, HI awarded 6 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity multiple-award contracts worth up to a combined $140.4 million to provide maintenance, repair and modernization of submarines homeported or transient through Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

The winners of the submarine maintenance contracts are:

  • AMSEC in Virginia Beach, VA (N32253-10-D-0001);
  • BAE Systems Hawaii Shipyards in Honolulu, HI (N32253-10-D-0002);
  • Chugach Government Services in Anchorage, AK (N32253-10-D-0003);
  • General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Groton, CT (N32253-10-D-0004);
  • Pacific Shipyards International in Honolulu, HI (N32253-10-D-0005); and
  • QED Systems in Virginia Beach, VA (N32253-10-D-0006).

According to the Commander, Submarine Force US Pacific Fleet, the following submarines are homeported at Pearl Harbor:

Commander, Submarine Squadron 1

  • USS Los Angeles (SSN 688)
  • USS Bremerton (SSN 698)
  • USS La Jolla (SSN 701)
  • USS Charlotte (SSN 766)
  • USS Greeneville (SSN 772)
  • USS Texas (SSN 775)
  • USS Hawaii (SSN 776)

Commander, Submarine Squadron 3

  • USS Jacksonville (SSN 699)
  • USS Olympia (SSN 717)
  • USS Chicago (SSN 721)
  • USS Key West (SSN 722)
  • USS Louisville (SSN 724)

Commander, Submarine Squadron 7

  • USS Pasadena (SSN 752)
  • USS Columbus (SSN 762)
  • USS Santa Fe (SSN 763)
  • USS Tucson (SSN 770)
  • USS Columbia (SSN 771)
  • USS Cheyenne (SSN 773)

The maximum value for each submarine maintenance contract is $23.4 million. Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, HI and is expected to be complete by December 2014. This contract was competitively procured via the FedBizOpps website with 6 offers received by the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
