Two US Army Engineer districts in Kansas and North Carolina have issued a total of $157.4M in construction contracts to Alutiiq LLC and its subsidiaries. Alutiiq, LLC is a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation formed under the Alaskan Native Claims Settlement Act. Alutiiq Manufacturing Contractors in Anchorage, AK received a $52.9M firm-fixed-price contract for permanent Operational Readiness Training Complex Barracks and associated site work and utilities at Fort Riley, KS. Work is expected to be completed by July 25, 2006. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 20, 2005 by the U.S. Army Engineer District in Kansas City, MO (W912DQ-05-C-0015). Small business qualifier Alutiiq Global Solutions LLC in Anchorage, AK received a $104.5 million firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a Temporary Brigade Combat Team Complex-Modularity at Fort Bragg, NC. Work is expected to be completed by May 26, 2006. This was a sole source contract initiated on June 16, 2005 by the U.S. Army Engineer District in Savannah, GA (W911SO-05-G-0001).
