Small business qualifier GS Engineering in Houghton, MI won a $25 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task order contract to supply systems test support services for US Special Operations Forces (SOF) [PDF] ground mobility vehicles. Approximately 40 task orders will be issued per year during the 5-year period of this contract.
The majority of the work will be performed at the contractor’s facility in Houghton and is expected to be completed by Sept 4/14. The contract was awarded on a competitive basis as a small business set-aside action by the US Special Operations Command Procurement Division (H92222-09-D-0050).
The ground mobility vehicle is 1 member of the SOF tactical vehicle family.
