Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL received a $42.3 million modification to previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (M67004-99-C-0002) to exercise the 9th option period for Fiscal Year 2008, for the Maritime Prepositioning Ships (MPS) Program and the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program-Norway (MCPP-N) Contract. The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program-Norway (MCPP-N) consists of 3 equipment caves, 3 ammunition caves, and 2 hangars loaded with prepositioning equipment and supplies located in Norway. This option includes logistics services that covers maintenance both in CONUS and OCONUS, supply support, inventory management, IT support, preservation and packaging, organic support, and shipping and receiving. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, FL (86%); aboard 16 MPS ships (12%); and in 6 locations in Norway (2%), and work is expected to be complete September 2008. This contract was competitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and 6 offers received via the Commerce Business Daily. The U.S. Marine Corps Blount Island Command in Jacksonville, FL issued the contract.
