Alliant Techsystems in Anoka, MN received a $5.9 million firm-fixed-price contract for 97,020 High Explosive Dual Purpose LW30mm cartridges. This ammunition is used in Alliant’s M230 30mm chain gun, which equips the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. The work will be completed at Alliant’s Radford, VA facilities by Feb. 28, 2006. Army Field Support Command in Rock Island, IL issued the contract.
