GDIT Gets $33.8M to Supply IT Services to NAWCAD

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Fairfax, VA received a $33.8 million modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-07-D-0024) for IT and information management support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) in Patuxent River, MD. The original $35.1 millon contract was awarded in August 2007 by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) also located in Patuxent River. NAWCAD is one of two product centers within NAVAIR. This modification provides for a range of services and products, including information engineering; automation of business processes; analytical and technical support for enterprise resource planning (ERP); consultation; hardware and software evaluation and selection; systems analysis; systems and applications sustainment, including configuration and maintenance of web sites and servers; integration of systems and applications; database administration; production support; information assurance; network support; firewall support; and imaging services. GDIT expects to complete the work by September 2010.
