Northrop Grumman Receives $70M Go-Ahead for Comm Systems

Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD received a placeholder delivery order as part of a $70 million firm-fixed-price contract for Vehicular Intercom Systems, 9,500 Master Control Station/Light, and 19,000 Full Function Crew Station/Lights. Work will be performed in Reston, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated in Sept., 2000. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., issued the contract (DAAB07-00-D-D902).
